I asked Graciela to do the May Super Hearts Treasury since I was travelling. I think she did a pretty good job. I’ll be doing the next several months myself.
The June Super Hearts Treasury came together fairly quickly, but I was running late and it took a while to get approval on it because the captain was very busy.
All of those in the top row and one from the next row down left two comments on the treasury. The rest are totally random and might drift around in the treasury as the month goes on.
Alisa Clarke from Turtles and Peace loves to take pictures. You can see it clearly in the items in her shop. She sells digital downloads, blank greeting cards, 8×10 prints, and canvases of her photography.
Everything shows her artistic flair. Most of her images center on the natural ranging from flowers so close you can see every petal to distant craggy mountain tops.
Some of the most impressive pictures feature animals. Clear, crisp, and richly colored, they are good enough for publication. When was the last time a squirrel held still long enough for you to get a good shot?
Some of the pictures were most likely taken in her native Canada. Others were taken in places like Mexico, England, and the Caribbean. They bring a sense of the exotic.
Where ever she goes, she brings along her trusty Nikon. Though some of these might be vacation photos, none of them are your average snapshot.
Not content with simply wonderful wildlife photography, she also offers black and white photography, pictures of boats and buildings, and some truly wild experimental photography. You might also find her drawings, hand-painted wine glasses, and horse treats.

Graciela Gacek from Cross Stitch the Line is all about the combination of the modern and the traditional. Her cross stitch charts range from several Super Dad motifs to a Scandinavian bird. Flowers, butterflies, and funny slogans fill her shop.
Each chart is lovingly hand-created by her using paper and pen before becoming available to you as a digital download. With over 160 designs to choose from you can find all kinds of projects that you would not find anywhere else. This galaxy pillow cover is probably the most subtle in her selection. It’s the sort of thing that might take a guest more than one glance to realize what they are looking at.

She just added pencil cases to her lineup. Of course they have the same sensibilities as her pillow cases. Wonder Woman, Star Wars, and The Walking Dead are all ready to go. She offers custom orders. If you really wanted a galaxy style pencil case, you could probably talk her into it.
 Did I mention the pillow cases? There are a lot to chose from. These are not the kind you can find just anywhere. She has several Zombie Apocalypses to chose from as well as Batman, Star Wars, etc.

For the moment, this is what the April Super Hearts Treasury looks like. Check again at the end of the month. It’ll look completely different.
This month we had plenty of APCteam members to choose from. There was a certain amount of closing the eyes and pointing. The exception is the top row.
Blossomviolet Crafts would not normally qualify to be in the treasury at all because she’s been in them too frequently. I made an exception this time because she went out of her way to comment on the March treasury, and happens to be the APCteam’s featured shop. You’ll be seeing my post on that soon.
I am not committing to putting the Shop of the Month in the Super Hearts Treasury every month. I’m just thinking about it. 🙂

From there the teams were ranked by row for their enthusiasm. All of them passed through the consideration of all the A Promotion Commotion team leaders. Most of them are new to me.
I will be unable to make the May Super Hearts Treasury due to a lack of time. Luckily we have plenty of other team leaders to rely on. Graciela Gacek will be making the treasury in my place. Although my posts are likely to run late, I will be promoting the treasury like always.
If you feel someone should have been included in this treasury and was overlooked, let me know! I’m always willing to argue the point and will make accommodations if you can convince me.

Bottled cranes are a specialty at Faire Miscellany. We put origami cranes in small bottles. Small, not miniature. These are just right as a desk ornament or party favor. This month I had to choose between a few shops that had already been featured in Super Hearts Treasuries before. It was a toss up between You Bad Girl, Fun N Fiber, and Pippin Post. In the end I flipped a coin.
Although the first row earned their place by leaving comments on the February treasury more than once, the placement of all the other shops with completely random.
I passed the list by the other leaders of the A Promotion Commotion Team, and got no complaints or suggestions.
If it’s this easy next month I’m going to start feeling spoiled.
Margie, the owner of the etsy shop Fun ‘N Fiber is one of the nicest, hardest working team mates I’ve had the pleasure to encounter. She has a store full of wonderful jewelry inspired by the mesas and deserts of her home in New Mexico.
Right now a wide selection of heart necklaces can be found on her front page. These are the kind of gifts that will appeal to a woman who finds the old Valentines chocolates and flowers unappealing while still pleasing the deeply romantic.
Her work focuses on organic elements like an irregular symmetry or a natural combination of materials. The simple beauty of stone shines through all her jewelry. She draws inspiration from the blues of sky, the rust and ocher of the land, and the bright colors of flowers. Though some pieces feature wire, it’s rare for intricate wire work to dominate.
