If you haven’t already, please visit and comment on the December Super Hearts Treasury.
I owe a sincere apology to everyone in it. I had intended to have this treasury made right at the beginning of the month to take advantage of the Christmas season. Instead, I’m even later than I normally would be.
I have a million and one excuses for this tardiness. Everything ranging from the increased work load of the season to health issues. None of them will make the treasury any less late.
In the hopes of avoiding the situation in the future, I’m going to skip January, and focus on getting the February treasury out as close to the first as I can manage.
If you would like to be included in it, then you need to do two things.
1. Leave a comment on the current treasury.
2. Participate in the click games in the A Promotion Commotion team on Etsy. You must follow all the rules for any thread you participate in.
Every person in this treasury has been checked to see that they played fair in the games.
This is NOT a BNR! No one paid anything to get in. No one bought anything to get in. I have no intention of every charging anyone anything. You can’t even get in by favoring pages in my store, though I always favor back. Including me in a treasury only means I will include you in one of my regular treasuries. You simply have to be a member of A Promotion Commotion, support the current treasury, and play fair. That’s all. That’s the only way in.
The quickest and easiest way in is still through the Treasured Treasuries thread.
Now, on to the the making of this treasury.
We were wide-ranging this time. I hunted people through nine threads, one of which has reached 2,530 posts in the 31 days it’s been up. There were three or four people who missed out by skipping a few listings.
The people in the top row got there by putting in extra effort. Friar Freds went to far as to support every Super Hearts treasury I’ve made. Normally Steph’s Quilts would go toward the bottom of the treasury as she’s already been featured, but her support of the November treasury and the whole concept behind it made a big difference in the continued existence of this treasury. Glitter Dancing and Spring Dance Dolls both qualified twice over.
I tried to put fresh faces on the second row as much as I could, leaving the bottom row to people who have been featured before and a friend I stiff armed into doing it so I could complete the treasury.
There may well have been people who were overlooked simply because I was unable to match out those who commented in the November treasury with where they participated in the team. Also, there are occasional wonky results in the favorites lists. I saw several instances where hearts I had just given did not appear when I went back moments later despite the fact I am always well under the 300 hearts per hour limit due to a very slow computer.
If you feel that you should have been included, convo me! I am more than willing to include you in the next treasury so long as I can be sure that you are playing fair.
You do a brilliant job, that’s so much work on top of your normal stuff to keep your shop up there. Thanks so much for including mine again, it’s really appreciated! I always post treasuries I am in in the other teams, such as Quiltsy and Quilts Quilts Quilts, we always support others treasuries. You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours philosophy. It is a team effort after all! Have a wonderful and relaxing Christmas.
