How March’s Super Hearts Was Made

Of the 16 slots available in the March Super Hearts Treasury, a whopping thirteen of them came from the Treasured Treasuries thread. I’ll admit to some laziness, here, as it’s easier to verify the activity in that thread and much easier to get people to comment on the previous month’s Super Hearts, but I kept an eye out for activity in the Post 1 Favor 50 thread all month long. Even then, I ended up recruiting one of them.

Except for a couple of the people in the top row, the placement this month was entirely random. I suspect some of the people included didn’t even know what the Super Hearts is all about. Support February was hit and miss.

The contest that I tried out as a way to support the treasury was a total bust. The advertiser I hired put me off for over a week, then simply cancelled the order out of the blue, leaving me to scramble for ways to draw attention to the contest. I ended up with very few entries, and had to hand over the shawl for little return. However, the winner is a pip. I’m glad she won.

I have asked the APC Team captain and one of the leaders to make suggestions for shops to include in future treasuries. So far, no one has done so. If they do, I won’t stop to verify. Recommended people will automatically go into the next available treasury. If the recommendation is glowing, they get top row.

Also, Christy has agreed to do the August and September treasuries as I will not be able to give it my all then.

To those who were included, congratulations!
