The Making of the June Super Hearts Treasury

SH 15-06

I have dropped the option of working the Post 1 Favor 50 thread as a way into the treasury. This is not because I no longer support that thread, but because it’s so much easier to find people through the Treasured Treasuries thread that I never got around to checking it. It’s the mechanics, not the people.

I still intend to roll out a button that people can use in all the other threads in the APCTeam to catch my eye, but it will have to wait. I’m not going to be doing the August or September treasuries. I’ve arranged for my fellow leader Christy Marquis to do them in my absence. I’ll be back at it with the October treasury. I might as wait until then to try the button out.

Meanwhile I am very pleased to see that participation in the Treasured Treasuries thread has been wonderful. We had another participant who did not post her own treasury. Yay, Hayah! Naturally I gave her the first square.

Susan of PippinPost would normally end up near the bottom of the treasury along with my other regulars, but she was very, very supportive of the April and May Super Hearts as well as a great team member. I felt bad about not being able to include her in the May Super Hearts.

Outside of that I tried to rank people by how active and supportive they were in the Treasured Treasuries thread. However, there is an element of the random involved. That’s is just as well because I intend to mix this treasury up quite a bit as part of my monthly contest – which I will post as soon as I decide what I’m going to give away.

We have now reached the point where I no longer even glance at the people who are in the current treasury when selecting for the next. As the regulars get fewer chances to be included in the Super Hearts I intend to bring them up from the bottom of the treasury more often.
