The addition of the requirement that people support the previous treasury did indeed cause problems. You’d think out of a hundred people I would be able to find 16 who would both favor everything in the Hundred Heart’s thread AND leave a comment in the September treasury. But noooooo. I found four.
I found four more from the Treasured Treasury threads. The Treasured Treasury people have it a lot easier because it’s almost impossible for me to prove that they actually did the kinds of support they claim they did. All I could go by was comments in the Super Hearts treasury – which was automatic if they followed the Treasured Treasury rules.
There were six or seven people who left a comment where they were supposed to, but didn’t pass the spot check for hearting everything in the Hundred Hearts thread. Mostly they tended to avoid the skull guitar pick necklace and the Guns and Roses tattoo sleeve, but in one case it was the Christmas Cat that got skipped. I feel like I should double check that. Seems I may be overlooking something – like it’s actually from her shop so she can’t heart it. That did come up for someone else, but I caught it.
Anyway, I launched another round of Hundred Hearts with a link to the treasury. Hopefully I’ll collect enough to be able to launch the October treasury this time. Also, hopefully, I won’t put too many people off. The treasury is supposed to be a benny for the team, not a burden.
In case anyone is wondering, I’m keeping track of everything on a spreadsheet. There’s no way I could keep it all straight otherwise.
