We had another great group of shops to chose from this month. I was able to get the list of those who qualified out to the other leaders just in time. My selections were accepted unanimously. Yay!
I put the people who were the most supportive of the January Super Hearts in the top row. I didn’t hunt down every tweet or pin, though, so I might have overlooked someone who put more into it than others.
We had a couple of repeats from previous treasuries. I feel that is a good ratio, so I gave them as much weight as anyone else. Hopefully we can expect the same ratios for future Super Hearts Treasuries.
The Prize: One Medieval T-shirt in your choice of sizes from toddler to adult’s XXL. We make our Medieval T-shirts out of a rough, rustic cotton.

This was the first treasury to come out under the new rules. It was a different experience for me. I went through the November and December treasury comment sections to see who qualified, made a list, and sent it off to our team captain, Sandra. She gave the go-ahead, and here it is.
I tried to pick people who had not been in a Super Hearts Treasury before. We’re trying to make the treasury a benefit to all A Promotion Commotion team members, not just those who are active in treasuries. This time it was a bit easier because the team members didn’t have to participate in specific games in the APC Team. It was more important that they comment.
I started off putting the people who commented more or did more in the way of general support of the treasuries in the top slots. The running was so close, though, that I ended up more or less random.
Although I did not pass the list around to the other team leaders or ask for suggestions this time, I intend to in the future. I plead “Christmas” as an excuse.

How the December Super Hearts Treasury Was Made:
I thought rather than making two posts about the treasury, I’d do both the announcement and talk about how it was made in one post.
This month I did a special tribute. Usually I contact each of the leaders of the team letting them know when I’m building the treasury and asking for suggestions. I don’t ever include them because I consider it a conflict of interest.
Yet who in the APC Team is working hardest for the team members? None of the leaders get paid for this. We do it because we want a better team, and see a way to make that happen.
This time I didn’t bother to contact anyone. I just put them in the treasury. Surprise!
That filled a rip roaring five slots. The top, of course, because this is the only crack the leaders will get at being a Super Heart any time soon.
The rest of the treasury is made entirely of people who have been treasured over and again. Why include them in this one? Because they are all wonderful team members! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve skipped over them simply because they had already been included too many times. In a way, they can be considered the best of the best.
This is just my little thank you to a bunch of people I feel I have come to know over the last year. I hope you will all be great members of the A Promotion Commotion Team in the future.

The Super Hearts Treasury is a regular tribute to the members of the A Promotion Commotion team on the Etsy Forums.
The Super Hearts is not a BNR or BNS. No purchase is necessary. Anyone who follows the rules can be included.
The Rules:
1) You have to have be a member in good standing of the A Promo Commotion team. In good standing means that you have not been cheating in any of games in the team.
2) You have to leave a comment in the comment section of the current treasury. The current treasury will be announced in a blog post here at Faire Miscellany when it comes out as well as in the Promote Anything thread and the Please Read~ Important Info! thread, and the team’s Facebook page. If you click on the blog tab at the top of this page, it should be pretty easy to find a link to the current treasury.

If you feel you should have been included, and you were not, then you are welcome to convo me. I’m always willing to argue the point. You might even end up in the next treasury.

If not for Graciela Gacek this month’s Super Hearts Treasury would have been very nearly a repeat of the October treasury. The vast majority of those who participated in the Treasured Treasuries thread and commented on the October treasury were in it.
I only found three relatively fresh faces. This is not what I want for the treasury, though I’m always happy to see people participating regularly.
